Show of hands, who else keeps singing “cocoa, cocoa banana!” to the tune of Copacabana? Anyone? Just me? Well now you probably have Copacabana stuck in your head. You’re welcome. I wanted to make a “chocolate covered banana” smoothie, but I only had two bananas left and didn’t think that would be enough banana flavor. I added some pineapple instead and ended up liking the bit of tart that it added. Try it with the pineapple or sub an extra banana and let me know what you think!
Cocoa Banana Green Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Serving Size: 2
Ingredients
- 2 cups greens (kale, spinach, etc)
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
- 2 cups liquid of choice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth
Notes
